My children are finally at an age that they allow me a little space to create.  Not as detailed as I usually like to be but they're teaching me to be less worried about detail and just focus on expressing and creating.  Which is very freeing.

I'm really hoping to get back into the art grove.  I have a few portrait requests I'd like to get done.  But as a mother, its hard to find a space to work with out little hands trying to get into what Mommy is doing.

I have been knitting a lot though... LOTS and LOTS of things.

But I miss drawing and painting so much.

I'm living in a limbo, missing my mother, but trying to be a good mother to my children and not letting the grief break me down completely.

Any way, hope you all are doing well.

It's been awhile yet again, but I have good reason!!  I had my second child on November 30th, 2011.  A baby girl :3

Her name (given by her daddy, since I named David) is Kaleesi May and she is just beautiful.

So know that my time away has been well spent creating a beautiful human

So can you believe that a year ago next Tuesday, I had my baby boy David Keegan?  I sure can't.  I really haven't been able to draw much due to the amount of mommy work and attention I put into my son.  Though I do have a lot of fun with the Graffiti application on facebook.  That is loads of fun for me and it gives me a quick fix to my art addiction.

Know what I'm sayin?

So... I just wanted to drop a note to say yes I'm still here, yes I'm still doing art, just not the way I usually do it.  And soon I'll have my work station set up so I can begin to create once more.
